Critique: Hanging Rock in color, 22 frames

Twenty-two landscape frames from peak color. The waterfall set is strong; the overlooks need a foreground.

The set

Twenty-two frames, Z6III with the 24-70mm f/4, most on a tripod. The Lower Cascades sequence is the strongest group of the fall.

What works

The vertical of the falls with the orange maple framing the top: the polarizer took the glare off the rocks and the half-second exposure smooths the water without turning it to mist.

What does not

The views from the Moore's Wall tower are all sky and far ridges with nothing near the lens. They read as postcards. A rock, a branch, or a person at the rail would give the eye a place to start.
